Lok Sabha on Thursday (April 3, 2025) made a record when the Zero Hour lasted for more than five hours and a whopping 202 MPs spoke.

Earlier, on July 18, 2019, 161 MPs had spoken during the extended Zero Hour.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla had given an assurance to extend the Zero Hour during a meeting of the Business Advisory Committee and members got a big opportunity to speak on matters of public importance in Parliament, an official statement said.
